PIM/DAM software?

A PIM solution works much like a large cabinet in which you want to store various objects. These objects come from different sources: inherited tableware from grandparents, children’s toys, personal books collected over the years… All these items are stored in one cabinet, with each shelf holding a category of objects, shelves you can gradually fill with new objects.

In summary, a PIM brings together product information (the objects in our analogy) from multiple sources such as Excel files, ERPs, PDFs, and many other systems (comparable to the grandparents and children in our example). All this product data is consolidated in a centralized product repository where it can be sorted and enriched by your teams as your products evolve or new ones are introduced. Several features allow you to secure your information and ensure that it is accurate and complete.

Finally, once your product sheets are enriched and ready for distribution, all that remains is to share them: with your distributors via standardized exports (FAB-DIS, ETIM, etc.), with marketplaces such as Amazon, with your websites and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, and with your graphic design team, which can extract this data to create marketing materials, product sheets, or labels in print or digital formats.
